There is a spacious living room with a pullout bed that flows into the kitchen area. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans and plates — everything you can think of to comfortably stay for a week and cook for your family. It includes a stove, oven, dishwasher, and a large fridge and freezer. The balcony is attached to the living room area. Additionally, there is a washer and dryer stacked in the front entryway, so you even have a personal space to do your laundry.

The Resort

The property itself hosts two main outdoor pools, two bars, one indoor pool and several outdoor areas to lounge, grill, play, and relax. There’s a little bit of everything for every age at this resort, which ranges from daily pool and fitness activities to relaxing spa treatments.  Convenience is a key aspect of the resort as well, which provides a storage area for your children’s toys and belongings when you are in between using the beach or pool.

The front three buildings sit right on the beach and overlook the main pool and accompanying bar area. These villas provide glorious ocean front views streaming down the coastline towards the central Myrtle Beach area. The resort is comfortably tucked away on a private beach area, which means much less beach traffic for guests. Look the other way down the beach and you’ll see millionaire condos, beach clubs and homes.

IMG_5996 (2)Enjoy the ease of dining at any of the four casual restaurants onsite; the Sand Dollar Pool Bar, the Sand Dollar Grill, the Woodsy Grilll & Pool Bar, and the Marketplace Express. The Sand Dollar bar and grill serves a variety of mixed drinks and American cuisine to accompany the casual poolside environment. Ocean’s on 82nd is located right next door inside Marriott’s hotel, and provides a more sophisticated dining venue with views of the water and succulent fresh seafood.

The front “ocean view” pool features a water fountain that shoots out into a lower pool area, which children love. You can use any of the pools located throughout the resort, whether you prefer ocean views or a secluded area.

The back pool, which sits in between the front and back villa buildings, is perfect for children and families. It has a fun play-land feel, with buckets and fountains pouring water out. There is a tree house children can climb, located right outside the fitness center entrance. There is also an additional quiet pool area in the back left, tucked behind the main children’s pool.
